The Malaspina - Ghana Project for Environmental Education is a 5 year project that began in April 2007 with Malaspina and two college partners in the district of Sunyani: the Sunyani Polytechnic and the Sunyani Faculty of Forest Resource Management. The goal of the project is to reduce poverty in the district of Sunyani through four community development projects that increase awareness to the community regarding bush fires, plastic waste reduction, HIV/AIDS awareness, and ecotourism as a revenue generator.
This space is dedicated for the faculty and students as a collaborative space to post ideas, thoughts, comments, and upcoming activities regarding the project. This is also a great way to stay in touch with the many friends we will make throughout the project and an easy way to say hello or Akwaaba!
